Subscribers don’t have to pay a transaction fee when they make a purchase or post a product on the marketplace. Subscribers can also get access to fishing gear seller information
If you’re not pleased with your purchase, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You will have access to subscribed features until the billing cycle is complete.
We don’t allow refunds at the moment, but you are free to cancel your subscription at any time. You will continue to have access to subscribed features until the billing period ends.
Location permissions help ensure that we can provide you with relevant search results within the app. These permissions are also needed so your catch can be logged in real time.
Camera permissions help ensure that the pictures being taken are genuine and are taken in real time.
The Quick Submit Log feature allows you to log a catch without having to enter all of the details. You can enter the details later. Remember that a log needs to be completed before it can be contributed towards selling a location.
You can only select a single photo from your logged catches per month, so choose wisely.
You will need to log at least 3 catches at the same location to be able to sell that location. The radius that you need to log your catch again is 30 yards from the center of the first logged catch. Note: You are not selling rights to any location. You’re only letting people know that you caught fish at a particular location and they might have the same good luck if they went to that location as well.
After you have purchased a location, you can use it in the form of a voucher. You can either redeem the voucher now, or you can save it for yourself later. You can also gift your voucher to someone in your contact list that uses the app. If your desired receiver is not using the app, you can invite them to use the app as well.
Yes, vouchers are valid for 14 days from the date of purchase. Once redeemed the voucher is valid for 7 days. After 7 days, you will no longer be able to view the location.
Only subscribers will be able to contact fishing gear sellers. The exchange of fishing gear and delivery is between the buyer and seller.
You don’t need a license to register as a guide. But if you do submit documents, you will be able to differentiate yourself from other guides on the platform by having a golden hook on your guide profile.
The SOS feature is designed to send an alert out to your contacts that use Fishfin that you might be in danger along with your GPS coordinates. Users can also share their location with selected contacts. Note: The SOS and location sharing feature are only available if the user has access to an internet connection.
